Barney Blew Up Swatch

jindie barney blew up

I finally own my very first official indie polish brand! I kept hesitating on purchasing Barney Blew Up by Jindie because I’m watching my money for my wedding. Yes, I’m getting married! Buuuuut I’ve seen so many awesome reviews on Jindie and I saw this ONE POLISH that I just had….to…HAVE! So, I bought it. The mini 5ml was $5.00, plus shipping to Alaska brought me up to $8.00.

This polish is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a light purple jelly with some fun shimmer, white hearts, white hexes, purple hexes, and green translucent hexes.  This thing is packed with lots of goodies. The only thing I can say negative about this polish, is #1 not enough green translucent hexes and white hearts! I could not get the darn things out  to show you them. Grr! #2 If you buy the small bottle, I suggest borrowing a bigger brush from a full sized bottle you have in your stash to grab the glitter goodies out because the mini brush is a bit thin. However, I do not own any mini GLITTER polishes so I wasn’t used to the different application process. This is just my personal experience to the minis.

Barney Blew Up – 3 Thin Coats

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE this polish. The formula is great and it dries very quick. It’s not too thin or too thick. My order was shipped almost instantly after I placed the order and I received my polish within a couple days. Very good customer service indeed. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone who wants to try them. Their colors are fabulous and their service is top of the line.

China Glaze Texture Toe-Tally Swatch

china glaze texture Toe-Tally

Yesterday I was raving about the new China Glaze Texture Unrefined polish and today I’ll be sharing with you the other texture polish I bought from China Glaze as well. Toe-Tally is a gorgeous orange texture polish. I was having a bit of difficulty with my lighting tonight and the orange came out so insanely bright. I can’t complain though, it’s pretty orange in person too.

This is definitely my second favorite polish now. I’ve fallen in love with the texture polishes and China Glazes colors never cease to amaze me.

This orange kind of reminded me of Muno on Yo Gabba Gabba, which my daughter used to watch all the time last year. So, I dug into my googly eyes and attached one to my middle finger. Super cute!

China Glaze Texture Unrefined

china glaze texture unrefined

I am absolutely bouncing off the walls today because I got to purchase my very first textured polish!!!! I heard it was in at Sallys Beauty so I ran, not walked, RAAAAN down there! Not only did I get a texture polish that I’ve been dying to try, I got it in one of my favorite brands, China Glaze. So, believe me when I say this, that the next pictures to follow in the post may get a little heavy, because well….I went a little photo crazy and also had some fun with my lighting in my light box. Tee hee. Yay!

This is Unrefined by China Glaze. It’s a fun bubblegum pink and it is now my favorite polish in my stash.

The texture is really interesting to work with. I used two coats of Unrefined for completely opacity. I would suggest two thin coats or else it’ll get goopy and become no fun to work with.

I had to add my new Jasmine Gold Round Glitter from KKcenterHk.com on this bubblegum pink polish because I just KNEW it would look awesome together. Well? Do you think the two went well together?

So who else has tried the new China Glaze Texture polishes? Do you love them? Hate them? China Glaze never fails me. I’d buy them all!

Blue Circle Nail Studs Review

blue circle studs review

The product(s) I’m about the review in this post were sent to me for my honest opinion and are in no way, shape or form based on anything but my own thoughts on the product(s) and how they worked for me.

These Blue Circle Nail Studs that I received from KKCenterHK.com are FANTASTIC! Out of the three products that I reviewed this week from KKCenterHK.com, these are definitely my absolute favorite. The package comes with about 50 in 5mm sizes for $5.00. If you have short nails, like I do currently they can be a challenge to fit more than one, but I’ve proven in the nail art below, that you can still have amazing designs with just one per nail.

The base coat I used on this look is Socialite by Vernis Classique/Cherimoya which is a gorgeous magenta! I thought teal would go wonderful with the polish which is why I chose to use the Blue Circle Studs on this manicure.

The studs should lay completely flat on wider nails, however if you have narrow nails, the studs stick out a little. They are very thin, bendable studs so you could possibly bend them to curve to your nail, though I have not tried.

These were so much fun to use and they’re easy to apply too! KKCenterHK.com has a lot of different varieties of nail studs to choose from, so why not go check them out here!
