Aqua Daisy Drop French Tips

aqua daisy bubble charm

Hello all! I’m catching up to doing more things with my nails on here because I quit working for my parents (that’s a story to tell another day). Today I share with you the last set of my bubble charms I received from Sparkly Nails, Aqua Daisy Drop Bubble Charms. These are super adorable and honestly, as much as I love these, it took me a while to come up with something that would really make these things pop! I decided to use Candied Lustre – Bubble Gum Electric, color changing nail polish, with purple french tips and some dotted tip accents.

The pack comes with 2 charms for $1.52. It says not suitable for small nails, but again with these charms, it really depends on your preference. I have fairly small nails, and these still seemed to look just fine :)

I love Sparkly Nails bubble charms. They are so cute and not overly huge. You can see all their other cute bubble charms here: http://www.sparkly-nails.co.uk/Nail-Art-Bubble-Charms_c_655.html.

Pink Bows from Sparkly Nails!

Pink Bows Sparkly Nails

“The product(s) I’m about the review in this post were sent to me for my honest opinion and are in no way, shape or form based on anything but my own thoughts on the product(s) and how they worked for me.“

How is everyone today? It’s kinda rainy and gloomy today in Alaska so I decided to review the bright pink polka dot bows Sparklynails.co.uk sent me. These bows are suuuuper cute and easy to apply to the nails. It says on their website that these are not suitable for small nails, but I completely disagree because my nails are small and they fit perfectly. They don’t lay completely flat across my nail, which may or may not be an issue to each individual person, but I love them and I’d wear them again. They come in a 2 pack for £1.00 or 1.52USD and here they are, all pink and ka-ute!

The beautiful purple base coat I used on this nail art, if you’re interested, is part of the Satin Glass Collection of Lynx Lacquer releasing around July. I put a top coat over it because I used pink acrylic to seal it, which ruined the satin glass look. I’ll provide swatches as the collection becomes closer to releasing.

Thank you for reading this review and I hope you head on over to Sparklynails store to check out their awesome bubble charms and nail art supplies!

Colores De Carol Swatch & Review

Kites in the Sky Colores De Carol

“The product(s) I’m about the review in this post were sent to me for my honest opinion and are in no way, shape or form based on anything but my own thoughts on the product(s) and how they worked for me.“

Hey guys! Today I bring swatches and reviews on a popular indie brand called Colores De Carol! I received 3 different polishes from her in the mail yesterday, all of which were beautiful in their own ways.

First off is Purple. Don’t let this polish fool you for as opaque as it looks in the bottle, it is actually a mix between a creme and jelly. It also has beautiful micro black holographic glitter. This polish is supposed to glow in the dark after being exposed to light but for some reason I couldn’t get it bright enough to capture on camera. This is 3 coats of Purple.

Next up is my favorite of this bunch – Kites in the Sky. Kites in the Sky is a pretty white jelly base with a ton of neon yellow and holo glitter with blue hex, pink hex, small green hex and bar glitter to add. Love this so much! This is 3 coats.

Lastly is Fun in the Sun which is a shimmery clear base packed with pastel glitters of all shapes and sizes. There is literally a lot of fun going on in this bottle of polish. This is 2 coats Fun in the Sun over a light pink base, Pure Ice – Pink Ice.

Cement Mixer Neon Pink Vs Chinaglaze Texture

cement mixers and chinaglaze 2

Hello my lovelies! I hope you’re all enjoying this wonderful day. It’s sunny and bright here in Alaska and I’m about to share with you a bright new polish coming soon to buy from my nail polish brand, Lynx Lacquers – Handmade Pawlish, the Cement Mixers Collection. For those of you who are like me and LOVE LOVE LOVE textured polish, this post’s for you!

As a comparison I swatched a finger with the popular and beautiful China Glaze Texture – Toe-tally on my middle finger to my brand of textured polish. Cement Mixer Collections formula is wonderfully chunkier than China Glaze and has a cement type look to it. This collection will be available in 3 different colors and come in 15ml bottles for $10.00 a piece. Here is a sneak peek of one of the colors.
