I was really excited to do Texture nails today! There’s something about Flocking Powder that I just can’t get over. I LOVE fuzzy nails, even though I can’t wear them at work because I work with food all day.
Soooooo, I’ve done Cookie Monster Nails, and Elmo nails. I reaaaally wanted to do Big Bird nails today, however I didn’t buy any yellow flocking ribbon, so I made do with Oscar the Grouch Flocking Powder nails. I covered all my nails aside from the middle finger, with Sinful Colors – Innocent. Then after they dried I used my *NEW Secret Beauty Basecoat which I absolutely love to pieces now, and pressed on my green flocking powder.
On my middle finger I used my groucho green acrylic paint, dotted in a few eyes, some wispy eyebrows, and a happy “I love eating trash” smile.
On my index finger I added a 3D bitten on apple that Oscar had tried devouring while I was creating this look.
And here are all the other fun texture manis for this challenge

I’m having a really horrible day today but seeing this manicure has put a smile on my face – I love it!

Thank you very much
Oh this looks really cool! I’ve tried the flockings as well but I didn’t like them. They look great (& feel great) but they weren’t long lasting at all. Maybe I did something wrong? How long do they usually last on your nails, maybe you have some tips for me

I love flocking powder too much, unfortunately because I work in the food industry I cannot wear these longer than half a day. I will have to try this look on my days off some time and do the durability test, but I’m pretty sure these are only meant to be one day manis.
